I am running a built in report, and while it has to parse what I assume is quite a bit of data, I don't think it should take over 3.5 hours to run. The report is Hardware Health Report ::APM:Historical Hardware Sensor Daily Availability :: Hardware Availability - Last Month
I am wondering what i can do that will have this report run in a timely manner. I plan on filtering on specific hardware sensors but haven't gotten to that point yet, this is the built in query.
Running on Windows Server 2008 R2 with 48.0 GB RAM 2x X5650 @2.67GHz Intel Xeon CPU
Database is Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and as far as I know it is the out of the box solarwinds DB layout.
Let me know if any other info would be useful in providing advice on this issue and I will do my best to get it to you.
