wondering the best way to get this.
I want to generate a report on a specific switch and find out the average and peak traffic for last month aggregated for all ports on that switch.
The reason is I have 2 root switches (48 port each) that all other remote switch uplink to and will be replacing both root switch and all other remote switches with a 2 chassis based switches and need to know the sizing of the VSF link between the 2 chassis switch, but I want to see what is the traffic on the current root switch is now in order to size the vsf links (i will be choosing beween 1Gb, 10Gb, 20Gb, 40Gb etc. VSF links..).
Is this the best way to do it? Or is there another way?
